The fertile valleys of Georgia are believed to be the source of the world’s first cultivated vines and wine some 8,000 years ago. This exclusive wine was produced in limited quantities from the grapes of an old local variety Kakhuri Mtsvane (Kakhetian Green), grown and handpicked in the famous Manavi AOC in Kakheti region. It was fermented and kept for 6 months in Qvevri (Georgian special wine earthenware). Full with myriad of dry fruit aromas, wine has golden color, good body and long finish. To fully appreciate the depth of this flavor and tannin rich wine, we recommend serving it at 15˚C.
